Take Three Breaths & Call Me In The A.M.

What habits can you practice to live powerfully and on purpose?

I'll share my magic formula to keep me in a good state of being. It's really a three-in-one habit. At the purest level, it's just this…

Remember to BRREEEEAAAAATTHHHHEEEE.

1st Breath: Breathe just to remember to breathe. Every day as you're moving through the tornado and cycle of your ever changing life, pause every so often to breathe. This habit of breathing is so important! Breathing allows us to remember, if but for a moment, to be the eye of the tornado rather than the chaos&hellip Breathing brings us into the absolute center of choice, rather than the craziness of reaction.

The first breath is the habit of simply remembering to breathe.

2nd Breath: Breathe to remember to smile. Because no matter what it is, all the good or the bad, no matter ecstasy or joy or how much pain and suffering you're in… This too shall pass. No matter what IT is… This too shall pass. Because IT always does. I think it was Wayne Dyer that refers to rule number #6. Rule number #6 is to take nothing seriously, least of all yourself. And there are no other rules.

The second breath is the habit of remembering to smile.

3rd Breath: Breathe to return to Gratitude. By this time most of the endorphins have returned you to more presence in the here and now. With this third breath, as you're inhaling, look up, still smiling and really allow your Self to FEEL Grateful. A quick prayer I use is, “Thank you for brining me to this space and time, remembering to feel grateful for What IS.” It's usually a silent prayer or thought. But by this time I've taken three deep breaths, have smiled big and have looked up feeling gratitude. It's just hard to stay “stuck” using this simple yet effective strategy to control my state of being.

The third breath is the habit of remembering to Feel Gratitude.

This practice of breathing is a very FUNctional habit to develop and become…

The first breath is to remember to breathe. The second breath is to remember to smile. The third breath is to remember to look up and just let the gratitude of your purpose enter your moment, right here, right now…

Because ultimately, just like everybody, there's a role that only you can fulfill. If you weren't able to fulfill it, you wouldn't have shown up in this space and time being you. It's really this simple.

So, show up and play full out. When life gets crazy or all the things get bent out of shape, remember just to simply breathe, smile, and remember that you have a choice to be on purpose or not. And it's a moment-to-moment choice.

Choose Well.

Breathe…

In Gratitude,

sk
